December 2010
Marvin and Frida came by to play, one wintery December day...
And the following day, after a busy morning in town including the new Lego store, we spent a cosy afternoon visiting Ingeborg and family
Early on December 23rd, we were safely delivered by taxi to Copenhagen airport, where the boys enjoyed being ferried around in their trolleys and letting off a bit of steam before boarding.
As always, we kicked off our UK visit with some power shopping at Morrissons and Tescos
And enjoyed some good quality time with Grandad Roger, Granny Lynda, and Auntie Lisa and family. Grandad's newly recarpeted stairs were a particular source of entertainment, as was the big bathtub at the hotel (we only have a small portable one in Denmark).
Thomas and his cousin Alfie hit it off as usual, and were glad of each other's company at the sumptuous Christmas dinner at Shearsby Bath. James was kind enough to sleep through the first two courses, but made his presence felt by all when he did wake up!
Back at Grandad's, more shenanigans in the stairwell, bathroom doorway and conservatory

Thomas opened one present before leaving Denmark, and this Chuggington train roundhouse became the basis for all his UK Christmas spending. By the time he returned home, he had quite the collection!
A fun video of James performing his dance and other antics, triggered by the music of his favourite Night Garden episode: click here
This year's Christmas tree has gone up, and we're working on trying to get nice pictures with the boys for Christmas cards and calendars.
