Happy Easter!

Thomas found an unusual note under his cereal bowl Easter Sunday morning: "Do you like chocolate eggs? Then look under Spiderman's legs!"

Intrigued, he found the foot-tall dancing Spiderman toy and sure enough, taped to his feet was another note: "Chuggington's the place to be; check the blue door carefully."  On the inside of the blue roundhouse door, note number 3: "Easter Bunny's who I am, your next clue is in the pram!"

Rush to the pram, where a final note was taped to two purple boxes containing Cadbury's eggs filled with chocolate buttons... this could only go one way:  "Purple, gold, white and red, look under your Daddy's bed" - where sure enough, riches of chocolate eggs were to be found (thanks Grandad Roger!)

Hey, it wouldn't be Easter without chocolate after breakfast...

We had beautiful weather for Easter this year, but James was quite out of sorts, having picked up middle ear infections in both ears, a lung infection and some sort of throat virus.  Being the hardy soul that he is, it took quite some time for us to realise there was more wrong than just teething, but finally we got him to the doctor. Now that the antibiotics have kicked in, he is a happy chap once again, especially when on the balcony or in a swing...

Another outing to the playground at Christianshavn - this time we were joined by Jonathan and James, one of his first experiences in the bike seat!

Thomas climbed the blue pyramid again, and it was even warm enough to take our jackets off while we enjoyed a picnic lunch.

More playing and playgrounds, and the removal of a local landmark: "Pinen", the old upside down boat which has served as umbrella and meeting place for many locals over the years.

Some impressive domestic creations: Lego chair and apple pie!

We took advantage of more nice weather in early April, to join the Webb family for another outing, this time to Dyrehaven north of the city.  We enjoyed some sumptuous views and saw lots of horses, but none of the usually plentiful deer.  While the little ones had their nap, Thomas and Marvin joined their dads for a short visit to neighbouring Bakken, the worlds oldest amusement park.

It was such a nice day that we decided to herald the arrival of Spring with the year's first BBQ with friends and neighbours.  Yum!
