Home from the holidays

The weather in Copenhagen had been so-so while we were away, but improved quickly upon our return.

The boys were pleased to revisit the Coral Reef aquarium at the local shopping center, as well as the local playgrounds.

Not long after our return to Denmark, we had a big-spending day, splashing out for a new bike for Thomas and a big(ger) telly.  We went out for lunch while Thomas' bike was being readied, and on the way back sleepy James required a bit of maintenance... good thing we still have the big pram!

Thomas and his friend Karl jumped on their new bikes and joined Cindy for a run to one of the slightly further playgrounds.

Another interesting local building project: new waterbus station being installed next to our building!

Having spent most of a rainy weekend indoors, we thought we'd let the boys out in their wellington boots for a bit of a splash in a few puddles.  We somewhat underestimated the splashing potential!

Friday's birthday

We joined Frida and family for a garden birthday party on a lovely sunny afternoon.  Big brother Marvin hammed it up, and Thomas and James had a great time eating birthday cake and playing with someone else's toys.
