Waikoloa

For our first week, we stayed in a timeshare in Waikoloa, a lush green space amid valleys of black lava

One morning a herd of goats came running onto the green, had a drink (and one or two had a bath), and in a matter of minutes were off again!

On their way to Hawaii, Mom and Steve picked up Ted, a friendly bear who was tired of the scene at Minneapolis airport and looking for some adventure.... Ted became very sweet smelling after a week or two in Waikoloa, as he became the "bearer" of our leis when we came home at the end of the day!
